Born in 1971, Nasser Al-Turki initiated his artistic journey in his hometown of Hail before relocating to Riyadh to pursue studies in electronics and physics. Throughout his career, light has been a central element in Al-Turki’s deeply reflective artworks, which are marked by ongoing innovation and development using various tools and materials, including painting, sculpture, and conceptual art.
Al-Turki has made significant contributions to the mixed-media landscape in Saudi Arabia through his solo exhibitions and participation in numerous local and international shows. In addition to his artistic endeavors, he has substantial experience in marketing artworks, managing projects, organizing exhibitions, and collaborating with galleries.
His impact on the Saudi fine art scene is also evident through his active participation in various exhibitions both within and beyond Saudi Arabia. He has a wide array of works held by local, national, and international entities, including notable institutions like the Green Box Museum of Contemporary Art in the Netherlands, UNESCO Center in Paris, Arab World Institute in Paris, and the Cultural Consulate in Paris.
